Guttering and Roof

Without internal access we’re unable to report on progress inside, however externally we’re pleased to see the guttering has gone on and the roof has begun!

  1. Wow, it's really becoming a house!

Any word on whether you will get access to the site at some point in the future? Must be so frustrating!

    1. Thanks Lauren. Funnily enough I didn't even notice the roof at first. I was looking at the bricks and dismally declared that nothing much had happened. "Except for half the roof!" Mick pointed out. Doh!

No access for us :( BUT, Mick should be ok to do the data cabling one weekend (in about three week's time, weather permitting) and he will need access then (he's got his white card and just needs to do the site induction but I think access will be a one-off thing).

Then, we can arrange inspections with a rep from Fairmont present....hopefully that's an easy task. We'll see.

  2. That’s a really big project. This house looks like a mansion. Anyway, it’s a big advantage that they install first the roof and gutter. With that, they can still work building the house, even if there is rain. So, there’s no reason for them not to continue working and finish the building faster. I’d love to see this house fully done. I’m pretty sure it’s a beautiful one.

    1. Thank you Tisa See. We are very excited about our house.

It does look rather large in pics... The aim is for us to eventually grow into the home :)

Stay tuned for how it turns out!
